President's Message
Thank you to all of our members for contributing to the advancement of Operations Management professionals in Cincinnati. You membership provides learning opportunities and creates community that would otherwise not be available.
Our programs will resume in the Fall. Visit this site frequently to stay aware of special events, like the Oddessy Program, and training opportunities offered in the interim.
Also, a hearty thank you to your Borad of Directors that worked diligently to produce the events and learning opportunities you enjoyed this year.

2007 APICS Conference Proceedings
If you have a valid APICS membership, you are intitled to recieve a copy of the 2007 conference proceedings. Members will recieve a commmunication announcing the launch of the "APICS Live Learning Center Web Site" soon. The proceedings with be available to members at that site. Be sure to take advantage of this valuable member benefit.

Volunteer Opportunities!
Give your career a boost by becoming an APICS Volunteer
Serving as a Cincinnati APICS volunteer offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership, learn new skills, network, earn CPIM re-certification points, build your professional reputation and have some fun.
We have immediate leadership opportunities, including:
Seminar Chair: Duties include planning and leading our Spring Seminar initiative. Candidates should be interested in learning about event coordination and have time to interact with speakers, facilities, caterers and other service providers. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious volunteer.
VP of Programs: This is a voting board member position. Responsible for all aspects of monthly meetings and plant tours. VP of Programs strives to understand the needs of members and chapter strategy and then reconciles those factors to design a program schedule. Activities include contracting for meeting venues, selecting meeting topics, recruiting speakers and managing meeting execution. This position requires approximatley 8-16 hours of effort per month.
