We are approaching the Holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner. Your Cincinnati Chapter Board of Directors is hard at work planning the Professional Development Curriculum for 2012. We will kick off our 2012 PDM season with what is typically our biggest event of the year. January 17th will be our annual "Evening with the Economists". This is a joint meeting with APICS, ISM, SME, ASQ and CSCMP and will be held at the Kingsgate Marriott. Dick Stevie from Duke Energy and George Vredveld from the University of Cincinnati speak about the results of last year's economic predictions and what they see for the 2012. This meeting is always well attended so make sure to register on the left side of the Homepage. We've upgraded the dinner buffet for this event also which is why we are charging both members and non-members $35.00.

 

We've had a change in leadership at the District level. Maryanne Ross was elected District Manager in a special election after the resignation of Bill Clark due to a job relocation. Maryanne brings many years of experience and leadership to this position.

 

As a chapter we attained Silver status for 2011 due to the results of our chapter management. We were a few points short of attaining Gold status. Our operating plan for this year will help to get us to Gold for 2012.
