Chemineer Inc. has immediate needs for the following:
BUYER/PLANNER
The Buyer Planner will be responsible for the planning of inventory, work centers and the purchase of all raw materials, components, and finished goods and services. You will also be responsible for the scheduling of in house and out sourced production requirements and inventory levels.
Other duties may include: item master maintenance, vendor master maintenance, problem resolution, cycle counting, creation of job packets, closing of job, router changes, overload evaluations, recommendations and outsourcing and machine scheduling.
Ideal candidate should have:

Bachelor's Degree in purchasing, materials management, supply chain management or operations management.

Internships in purchasing, planning or inventory management are a plus.

Desire to learn, contribute and succeed are a must.

Be willing to work and contribute in a team based manufacturing and distribution environment.

Minimal travel.
LONG RANGE PLANNER
Responsible for the Master Production Schedule, selected line planning and inventory planning. Other duties will include: item master maintenance and problem resolution, overseas inventory planning for long lead times, scheduling, creation of job packets, closing of jobs, router changes, overload evaluations, recommendations for outsourcing, machine scheduling, and cycle counting. In the monthly review process, this person will be responsible for the reports that generate requisitions and project inventory requirements and inventory reductions. In addition, this position plays a critical role in the introduction of new products, which includes: item master setups, forecasting, and ordering.
The idea candidate must have the ability to:
- Provide high-level problem solving and creative decision-making.
- Develop and maintain systematic process improvements via manufacturing process, equipment and manpower utilization, software enhancements and team building.
- As a S&OP partner the Long Range Planner will: evaluate incoming demand, Master Production Schedule level review, plant load analysis, recommend/coordinate outsourcing, and inventory planning/reduction.
Strategic thinking is a key requirement/ingredient in order to be successful in this role and within Chemineer.
Desire a candidate who has a Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience; Planning/buying experience in an engineered to order, low-volume, high-volume mix operation is preferred. CPIM, CIRM, and C.P.M. is a plus! Minimal travel is required.

Production Inventory Control Scheduler
POSITION SUMMARY:
The scheduling and monitoring of finished goods, WIP (work-in-process) and raw materials to meet inventory goals and customer needs in a timely and efficient manner. The job is a 40-hour per week job with overtime as required. This person reports to the PIC Department Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer requirement and inventory goals.
-
Responsible for maintaining and monitoring inventory levels for finished goods, WIP and raw material at required or directed levels by using DSRP (Demand Solutions Requirement Planning Program).

Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.

Requisitions and monitors raw material to meet production and other scheduled needs using MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
-
Updates and uploads a rolling future production schedule on a weekly basis for a minimum of eight weeks. Uses guidelines of color sequencing, machine packing requirements that best fit the production processes, and line priority sequence but they have the authority to change the sequence/schedule to meet inventory needs for unexpected customer demands.

Prepares and distributes a weekly production schedule to all areas requiring a schedule.

Prepares and releases production work packets as needed to appropriate personnel on an as needed basis.

Communicates status of new items, production issues on everyday and seasonal items to Blue Ash and Leesburg Management.

Scheduler has discretion in setting or changing schedules when exceptions arise in production or with raw materials.

Scheduler has the authority to shut down production lines when issues arise with raw materials, priorities, manning or forecast/customer issues that dictates an immediate action. Responsible for communicating the reasons and any other information for this action to management.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & DEMAND:

Setting at desk performing scheduling duties.

Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.

Schedulers are exposed to and travel through the production areas to review jobs being performed and deliver paperwork, which incorporates walking, climbing stairs, exposure to production operations that includes noise, dust, scents, heat, cold, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have: a high school diploma or GED; 3-5 years scheduling experience; excellent written and verbal communications skills; a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple and conflicting priorities; be a forward thinking, team player with proven ability as a motivator, problem solver, and coach.; a working knowledge of computers to include Microsoft Excel and MRP systems; the ability to move quickly to respond to situations; Must be a forward thinking individual with the ability to anticipate rather than react; Must have fast and now responses.
